Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply when you book a beauty treatment or otherwise use the services of Radiance Glamour Lounge (“we”, “us”, “our”) at our Stockport salon or through our website.

By booking or attending, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not proceed with a booking.

2. Ladies-only salon

Radiance Glamour Lounge is a ladies-only salon. We provide services to women only. We reserve the right to refuse service where these Terms or our salon policy are not met.

3. Beauty treatments

3.1 Consultations and suitability

Some treatments require a consultation or patch test before your main appointment. You must provide accurate information about your health, allergies, medications, pregnancy, and previous treatments. We reserve the right to refuse or postpone treatment if we believe it is not safe or suitable.

3.2 Appointments

Appointments are confirmed when we acknowledge your booking by phone or message. Please arrive on time. Late arrival may shorten your treatment time or require rescheduling.

3.3 Cancellations and no-shows

We ask for reasonable notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with insufficient notice, or failure to attend, may result in a charge up to the full treatment fee, at our discretion.

3.4 Payment

We accept cash and debit or credit cards in salon. You can also pay online when you book, either the full price or a deposit, by card. Online card payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card details. Prices quoted on our website are subject to change; the price shown at the time you book and pay applies to that visit.

3.5 Results and aftercare

Results vary between individuals. You are responsible for following aftercare instructions provided. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes.

3.6 Patch tests

Where a patch test is required, your main treatment cannot proceed until the minimum waiting period has passed and the test is clear. Attending without a valid patch test may result in cancellation.

4. Booking and buying online

4.1 Online bookings

When you book and pay online, your appointment is confirmed for the date and time you selected as soon as your payment is successful, subject to any patch test or consultation requirement. We will send a confirmation by email. If you send a booking enquiry without paying, that is a request only and is not confirmed until we agree a time with you.

4.2 Online payments and deposits

You can pay the full treatment price or a deposit online. Any deposit is put towards the total cost of your treatment; the balance is paid in salon on the day. Payments are taken by card through Stripe. If a payment does not complete, your booking is not confirmed.

4.3 Buying products online

You can buy salon products through our website. When you place an order and pay, we form a contract with you for those goods. Items are usually collected in salon, or we will arrange delivery with you. If an item is unavailable after you order, we will contact you and refund you in full.

4.4 Your right to cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

Products. For most products bought online you have the right to cancel within 14 days without giving a reason, starting the day you receive the goods. Tell us within that period and return the item within 14 days of telling us. We will refund you within 14 days of getting the goods back, or proof that you have sent them. You are responsible for the cost of returning items, and for any loss in value from handling them more than needed to check them. By law, this right does not apply to sealed health or hygiene products (such as opened cosmetics), personalised items, perishable goods, or gift cards.

Treatments. When you book a treatment online you also have a 14-day cooling-off period. If you ask us to carry out the treatment during those 14 days and it is fully provided, you lose the right to cancel. If it is partly provided, we may charge a fair amount for what has been done. Outside your statutory rights, our normal cancellation and no-show policy in section 3.3 applies, and a deposit may be retained where you cancel at short notice or do not attend.

4.5 Faulty goods and refunds

If a product is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to a repair, replacement or refund. Refunds are made to the original payment method. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights. We use the details you provide as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Health, safety and liability

You attend treatments at your own risk where you have withheld relevant medical information. Our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence is not excluded. Otherwise, our total liability to you for any claim arising from a treatment is limited to the fees paid for that treatment, except where law does not allow such limitation.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

6. Complaints

If you are unhappy with a treatment or your visit, contact us promptly at 07857 579631 so we can investigate.

7. Website use

Content on this website is for general information. It does not replace a consultation. We aim to keep information accurate but do not guarantee it is complete or current.

8. Third-party links

Our site may link to Instagram, Google Maps, or other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to bookings made after the “Last updated” date.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your rights if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland.
